Ana Borralho & João Galante question a group of local young adults on the happiness topic. The definition of happiness varies from person to person, it can be a state of mind, a state of satisfaction, of well being… How can we be happy? And, above all, how can we be happy in a society that isn’t.
What matters most to both artists is the young adult’s answer, for whom the future is frequently vague.
Trigger of Happiness is a participative performance that questions and puts on stage a group of young adults, their dreams, their expectations on a period of their lives made out of stress, pressure, conflicts, risks, challenges, identity questioning, new experiences… Beyond that, the performance questions our capacity of accepting and living change.
