The Portuguese Platform for Performing Arts is coming soon! And with it, the excitement, curiosity and passion for the arts that for a few days transform our small town of Montemor in a vibrant and cosmopolitan environment, a place of encounter for dance, theatre and performance.
During 4 days, from the June 5 till 8, we will display 17 of the most interesting works created in Portugal during the last two years.
Surprising, experimental and innovative creations, witnessing the vitality of our performing arts scene, chosen by an attentive jury.
In a challenging year, where Espaço do Tempo has to depart from the Convento da Saudação so that the renovation works can happen, we are happy to announce that we will move to an exiting location, also a convent previously used as a hospital, and that will be our temporary home during our platform. A great space, located in the historical center of Montemor, that will offer the ideal conditions to accomplish our needs.
As in previous years, we will do our best to welcome all the promoters, theatre and festival directors, that will spend 4 days discovering the works and meeting Portuguese artists, hopping to make your trip to Montemor-o-Novo a memorable one.
